Ishka Bibbleis the journal for Jane's Boy Press. When our submission call opens, we will be looking for your best, your brightest, your most polished work. We want poems that people cannot ignore. Poems that may make them uncomfortable, or which they may try to dismiss as nonsense, but will nag at them in the days that follow. Don't send us poems that are just beautiful. Send us poems that crash the party, stand in the center of the room, and demand to be heard. Send us poems people want to talk about at work the next day. Send poems that people request to have read at their funerals. Send poems that make artists want to scrawl their lines onto the sides of skyscrapers.
