NO ARCADIA

Jane's Boy Press is pleased to announce the official release of NO ARCADIA by D. Eric Parkison. 

In his first published collection, Parkison offers readers a rare glimpse into the old ways of the intimate rural landscapes of American life, from the darkened summer bedrooms where air conditioners labor to cut through the oppressiveness of summer to creek sides and fields inhabited by good, if hardened, country folk and the machines that help them to break the earth and turn the furrow.  His poetry is rich in images and observant language that chronicles rural Americana in both daylight and cold shadow in a fresh new way that opens the reader's eye to the hidden world that spreads outside the comforts of our city limits.
