Stacy Pratt is a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. She was born and raised in northeast Oklahoma, but she has lived in several states and in Italy as the wife of a soldier. Her writing has appeared in publications including This Land Press, Indian River Review, and Catholic Digest. She taught college English and literature for over fifteen years, most recently at SUNY-Jefferson in Watertown, NY. She is currently editing for Jane’s Boy Press, revising her own novel manuscript, and returning to freelance writing and coffeehouse music-playing after many years in academia. She lives with her husband and two dogs wherever the Army tells her to go.
